Originally formed on Long Island, New York in 2000, Car Bomb is a band whose style is marked by a highly experimental and extremely aggressive approach to metal. Their unpredictable blend of evolving polyrhythms, shifting tempos, syncopated down-tuned guitars, jazz-influenced drumming, harmonically deconstructive riffing, and dynamic vocals create a sound that is pulverizingly heavy and intensely disorienting. They create music that is fluid and ever changing, and are not afraid of veering off on bold melodic tangents. This unique sound combined with a strong DIY work ethic and a continuously growing fan base has earned them the opportunity to tour with larger acts in the genre. MONOSPHERE: Nach dem Release von „The Puppeteer“ (2021) und "Sentience" (2023) haben die Mainzer Monosphere die deutsche Prog/Post-Metal-Szene kräftig aufgewühlt und mit ihren Liveshows Presse wie auch Fans begeistert. Mit Direct Supports für Karnivool, Cradle Of Filth, Wage War sowie internationalen Touren mit The Hirsch Effekt, DVNE und Wheel konnten Monosphere endgültig die Speerspitze ihrer eigenen Nische erreichen. Mit ihrem vielseitigen Sound, den man als Progressive Post-Metal beschreiben könnte, veröffentlichte die Band im Januar ihre neue Doppel- Single „Lapse“. Der Track deutete mit Einflüssen aus Metalcore, Black Metal und Mathcore auf den anstehenden Release ihres dritten Albums, das Ende 2025 erwartet wird.
